If so, I'm glad you're here! Lottie Made is for people who enjoy the authentic feel of original art and love color combinations bursting with wonder & joy.

Everyone deserves a home they can recharge in. Colour has an enormous capacity to nurture joy, pleasure and even good health. Lottie Made is devoted to bringing artwork to brighten homes, offices and public buildings.

 

 

Hey there! My name is Lottie and I'm a fine artist and illustrator based in Guelph, Ontario Canada. I have 4 focus areas in my work: fine art, commercial illustration, graphic design work and teaching. 

1. In my fine art I focus on natural subjects like landscapes, flowers. I spend a lot of time working on fresh color combinations and learning more about mixing paints. My art is also licensed to companies like Minted and Mixtiles for prints and was recently selected to see through Minted's Direct From Artist program. Be sure to check out the News section for exhibitions I'm participating in and classes I'm offering outside of this website.

2. In my commercial illustration work I work either on commission base or license artwork for greeting cards and stationery. I love including subtle humor and muted colors in my illustrated work.

3. In my website & brand design work (website design & development and branding) I always focus on research and understanding the why and what before designing and developing. Once we get there I have a clean style that leans heavily on usability, color psychology and legibility.

4. My classes focus on teaching kids the joys of painting and instilling confidence in their artistic abilities. I regularly teach home-school groups and kids classes but have also taught creative classes in schools and paint parties for larger adult groups. I also run an online course yearly teaching creatives to create a complete brand
